Before taking this exam you must complete the online Dermal Filler Injection Training course and upload your certificate. This online Botox & Dysport training certification course is designed for medical practitioners who have been trained on Botox & Dysport injection training in the past. For Boxtox training you will learn the inject in the following areas: Basic Botox Areas: Frown Lines, Crow's Feet, and Forehead Lines. Advanced Botox Areas: Nasalis, Perioral Lines, Dimpled Chin, Brow Lift, Lower Eyelid, and Marionette Lines. Included in the Online Training: Instructional videos (8 videos 2 hours in length), powerpoint slides and essential startup files will be available to you online prior to the hands on training day. The videos will contain instructions on both beginners and advanced injectors. Botox Video Objectives: Mechanism of action of Botulinum Toxin, Knowledge of the facial anatomy, physiology of pertinent muscles, FDA approved uses and off label uses, Safety and contraindications, Storage, preparation and dilution Proper injection of Botulinum Toxin, Patient evaluation and consultation, Standardized procedures & protocols. THIS IS AN OUTSIDE COURSE AND REQUIRES THE STUDENT TO UPLOAD THEIR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION PRIOR TO RECEIVING CREDIT.
