Various stakeholders, from payors and politicians to clinicians and consumers of mental-health services, require information establish the merit and efficacy of telemedicine applications. Relevant studies that met rigorous selection criteria were reviewed and critiqued in this analysis which provides evidence of feasibility and acceptance of telemental health interventions as well as significant associated cost savings.
