Course overview

This workshop teaches you how to safely apply kinesiology-tape (KT) after massage therapy, or as a separate service, to your massage clientele, to facilitate functional outcomes, enhance your practice, and improve function in your clients. You will learn the different kinds of taping, and kinesiology taping techniques. You will learn how to tape for common musculoskeletal issues, how to apply KT to clientele and how to apply KT for self-care, as well as, techniques for lymphatic drainage. Student Requirements: One sharp pair of scissors, 2 rolls of Kinesiology Tape, pen, and water bottle. Class participation is mandatory. Students with contraindications or issues with this matter should contact the instructor prior to registration. Wear shorts, or a swimsuit, sport bra for women, or bring sheets for draping. Tuition Investment: $125. The fee does NOT include kinesiology tape.
