Tracking # 20-693863
Course overview
This is a home study course for physical and occupational therapy clinicians in acute or subacute care who are seeking to update their understanding of pulmonary disorders. This course addresses pulmonary disease that may be associated with or lead to cardiac disease and is composed of two units. Unit 1 is an overview of pulmonary conditions that PTs and OTs are likely to see in their practice. Unit 2 looks at issues related to PT and OT assessment, treatment, precautions and discharge planning for patients with these diagnoses. (This course is a great companion to course 921--Cardiac Disease and the Therapist.)
