Course overview
This course will assist participants with gaining a great knowledge of the Florida Laws and Rules for NASW, AAMFT, and NBCC. Participants will learn how ethical guidelines and legal issues in mental health profession. Participants will also learn abuse reporting, mandated reporter, issues related to receiving gifts from clients, and issues regarding dual relationships. Participants will also learn how confidentiality and when confidentiality will need to be breached. Participants will further learn the steps to be taken for duty to warn/protect using the Tarasoff and Ewing. Participants will gain full knowledge of the Florida statues for mental health profession.
