Course overview

Hypertension is a pervasive condition in the U.S., and the lifetime risk of developing it is 80%. The guidelines recently changed, lowering blood pressure goals for managing hypertension. The new guidelines also put great emphasis on nonpharmacological therapies. This module explains the new guidelines and the recommended treatments.
