Therapists have much to offer the wound care team, but many therapists do not feel adequate in assessing a wound, writing goals, or documenting. This is an Entry to Intermediate level course that outlines what a pressure injury is (and is not), how to assess a pressure injury, what factors may have caused and/or contribute to a pressure injury, and how to write an effective therapy plan of care for the treatment of a patient with a pressure injury.
