Orthopedic Examination and Joint Mobilization of the Knee
Tracking # 20-703557
Course overview
There are over 40 orthopedic tests for examination of the knee. Physical therapists must be able to identify the most appropriate tests to use based on each patient's presentation. This requires an understanding of the statistical values that influence the utility of these tests as screening vs. diagnostic tools. Once the clinical diagnosis is determined, clinicians must be able to recall and implement the most suitable joint mobilization technique to restore proper arthrokinematics. This module provides physical therapy professionals with guidelines for completing an orthopedic examination of the knee and specific evidence-based interventions, including joint mobilization techniques, to implement.
