Course overview

This course is a study of contrasts: Recent information and data are presented which demonstrate that Medical Errors continue to increase at an alarming rate. Congressional testimony from 20 years ago by medical experts is presented in which recommendations are given to correct and remedy this problem. Patient safety and the avoidance of medical errors play a vital role in health care. Medical case errors have brought this issue to the public's attention and raised its concern.
