The purpose of this course is to provide an accredited continuing education program designed to satisfy specific opioid clinical use continuing education requirements as described in Rule 9, Section 8 by the New Mexico Board of Nursing. Additionally, this educational program will provide APNs an overview of the legal requirements governing the prescribing of opioids in New Mexico.
