Florida Nursing Laws & Rules 2 CE Hours

Course overview

This is a 2 CE hour course that is designed to provide nurse professionals with a thorough understanding of the major laws in the state of Florida that pertain to their profession. Chapters 456 and 464 of the Florida Statutes will be covered in-depth in addition to the rules in Title 64B9 of the Florida Administrative Code. This course meets the biennium continuing education requirement from the Florida Board of Nursing for Laws & Rules of the Board. This course was updated in 2016 based on the current Florida nursing laws that had been amended or repealed at that time. The reference section lists the website address where these laws were retrieved so that nurse professionals may view any recent updates not available prior to this course publishing.
