Course overview
This course provides healthcare professionals with an understanding of common chronic wounds of the lower extremities. Upon completion of this course, users will be able to describe the phases of healing for acute wounds and factors that prevent wound healing. Users will also be able to use diagnostic tools to determine the cause of the wound and identify the items needed for wound assessment documentation.
