Course overview
This course will help the student become a more educated consumer of research. It will help improve the participant’s knowledge in distinguishing credible information from propaganda, and elucidate some of the intimidating terms which often accompany informative writing. The course includes a clear, user-friendly clarification of the daunting terms used in statistics, as well as concise definitions of the key components of a scientific study. Concluding with a succinct didactic on the importance of Critical Thinking, the course will greatly enhance the student’s ability to analyze and interpret various forms of research.
