Course overview

12 contact hour Cancer Nursing, Prevention and Early Detection for the Adult Patient - This course focuses on cancer prevention, early cancer detection, and nursing care of adults with cancer-during and after treatment. This course is intended to help nurses provide not only cancer care, but accurate and up-to-date information as well. 10 contact hour Disorders of the Endocrine System: Anatomy, Physiology and Current Treatment Initiatives - This course provides information on the anatomy and physiology of the endocrine system, disorders of the endocrine system, treatment options for endocrine pathologies, and nursing considerations related to care of patients suffering from such pathologies. 4 contact hour Stroke Part I: Identification and Acute Care - This course is designed to expand your knowledge of the pathophysiology of stroke and provide safe and appropriate nursing care in the emergency and acute care settings. The course will also provide information about the identification of stroke and the treatment measures that should be implemented in the acute care setting. 4 contact hour Stroke Part II: Rehabilitation and Tertiary Prevention - Upon completion of this course, you will have a better knowledge of the pathophysiology of stroke and be able to provide safe and appropriate nursing care in the emergency and acute care settings.
