Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: 1. To understand the importance of appropriate first aid, medical treatment, early cardio-respiratory investigations and recommendations for SDPE patients. 2. To explain how age and other predisposing factors contributed to immersion pulmonary edema - incorporating both swimming induced pulmonary edema (SIPE) and scuba divers pulmonary edema (SDPE). 3. Undersand vasomotion – important physiological phenomenon. 4. Understand how HBO2 acts on vasomotion. Subject Matter: 1. The evolution of scuba divers pulmonary edema 2.
