Each of the seminars in this series will focus on the Cervical Spine and the Upper extremity areas. Step-by-Step Massage Therapy and Chiropractic functional rehab protocols for Common Conditions is intended to give massage therapy staff and the Chiropractor the knowledge and confidence to work safely with clients who have medical conditions, communicating with same acute and functional goals. "Step-by-Step Massage Therapy Protocols for Common Conditions" by Charlotte Michael Versagi, "Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins (August 8, 2011" outlines the skills needed to assess wisely, think critically and work closely current and approved Chiropractic protocols. (Participants will be instructed on the use of multiple soft tissue and treatment techniques including state mandated sections. Guided programs will be catered to Evaluation of soft tissue disturbance, functional evaluations and treatment with the technique of choice or combination of ROM / PNF techniques, and movement patterns to insure healing as related to the healing process. Leading to the title of Certified Chiropractic Rehab Assistant (CCRA). This is an advanced class and includes mostly hands on techniques and practicing Muscle testing, palpation, treatment and mobilization, diversified techniques and special strapping and muscle energy techniques.
