Health Issues for Addiction Setting Employees

Course overview

This course provides a fundamental understanding of health-related issues and illnesses that are critical to know by all persons working in addiction treatment settings. This course examines changes in the addicted client profile and provides information to help counselors be more cognizant of Sexually transmitted Diseases (STDs), Tuberculosis (TB) and other related health issues when working with high risk clients.
