Course overview

Many clients are accustomed to an active lifestyle, so they become frustrated when they cannot move around or engage in occupations in ways they did before an illness or injury, or like they did when they were younger. Occupational therapists understand this frustration, so they help clients, caregivers, and family members understand and apply safe ambulation techniques. This course discusses how occupational therapy workers can better understand these concerns, so they can, in turn, educate clients and caregivers on their ambulation and mobility.
