Course overview

In part two of this series, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, MD, shares stories showing how she helped patients move through denial, anger, bargaining, and depression to achieve acceptance before the end of their lives. In this recording made before she died, Kübler-Ross reviews how clinicians can make themselves available to patients at the end of life and how clinicians can facilitate the dying process most effectively. Insightful interactions with real-life patients are used to show ways clinicians can support patients at the end of life and how these patients can be clinicians’ best teachers. Kübler-Ross also explains how clinicians can differentiate between acceptance and resignation.
