EBP-5: Vision Therapy

Course overview

This lecture will provide the physical therapist, athletic trainer, and occupational therapist with the training tools to better understand the role of oculomotor pathology through vision therapy rehabilitation and orthoptics. Training for vergence disorders, as well as oculomotor dysfunction such as pursuit and saccadic abnormalities will be discussed through evidenced based research. A must-have list of vision rehabilitation techniques will be discussed, including step by step protocols and video demonstration.
