Course overview
This workshop demonstrates successful strategies based on yoga principles to achieve digital detox. It applies to children and teens that experience stress and sensory issues from over use. In this webcast, you will explore a 7-step plan to achieve digital detox. You will learn how to counteract the increased demand for digital use with practical yoga and mindfulness tools and practice breathing, tenets of mindfulness, setting schedules, yoga principles and embody techniques. These skills will give families boundaries to use at home and work. We will learn somatic activities for children to help them transition from a digital device to homework, family conversation, active play and learning. You will learn about the relationship of digital overuse to stress, sensory, and developmental delays and how to overcome this. You will learn how to create schedules, one hour to one day digital breaks, and how to manage weekends, vacations, homework, dinners, social gatherings and family time. Practice yoga and mindfulness tools to immediately apply to work and home for digital detox for clients and families.
