Training Description: This hands on and competency based training curriculum is designed for Nurse practitioners, certified nursing assistants, home health aides, nutritionist, nurses, doctors, medical staff and medical providers, and technical staff for participant use in a training environment or course room setting. Training for administrators and staff working within the healthcare arena. Healthcare professions will gain understand of impairment, Florida Nurse Practice Act”, Chapter 464, Florida Statutes Reporting Procedures, Resource Access, Care and Compassion, Identifying impairment, Alcohol and Substance Abuse among impaired nurses in the workforce. The training is designed to help health care providers and professionals understand/identify potential causes of impairment in the workplace.
