INTERACT 1b & 7: Overview & Using the INTERACT SBAR Communication Form/Change in Condition Progress Note

Course overview

This module is designed for RNs, LPNs, Medical Directors, Primary care MDs, NPs and PAs. In order to earn a CE, you must successfully complete this module and Module 1b. Both modules must be passed with a score of 80% or higher. Your certificate will be available within 24 hours. Visit the Your Courses tab to access your certificate 1 day after successful completion of Modules 1b and 7. The CE certificate will be under the name "INTERACT 1b & 7: Overview & Using the INTERACT SBAR Communication Form/Change in Condition Progress Note". The purpose of the SBAR Communication Tool and Progress Note is to improve communication between nurses and primary care providers by encouraging all health care team members to use consistent language in communicating with one another. By creating standardized criteria and clear guidelines or communication around resident change in condition, more efficient and effective transmission of important information can occur. This session will utilize a case study to provide a detailed review of the SBAR Communication Form and Change in Condition Progress Note.
