Objectives: Students will learn about the principles, pathology and management of the obstetrical patient in an emergency. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Discuss complications of pregnancy Review the correct procedure for vaginal delivery and post-partum care of mother and infant Describe the emergency management of the pregnant patient suffering from a traumatic injury
