The body of evidence concerning the use of body weight support for gait training has grown immensely over the past 2 decades. Favor has waxed and waned regarding this training modality, but what do we really know about its efficacy, utility and cost effectiveness? In this course we will explore past and present ideas about "locomotor training," and in what directions the research literature is guiding us regarding appropriate applications in the clinic.
