Tracking # 20-598066
Course overview
Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADL) provide alternative control of devices in the home environment, increasing client independence and safety. Basic EADLs are typically controlled by a switch and operate simple battery operated and electrical devices, allowing the client to participate, socialize, as well as improve functional independence. Multifunction EADLs provide control of a wide array of devices and features and can be controlled by direct, switch, voice or even eye gaze access. This course will systematically review EADL assessment, goals and product selections. Case studies are included.
