Target Audience: The target audience for this education program is nurse managers who want to eliminate bullying from the practice setting. Course Overview: The phenomenon of bullying has existed for as long as the profession of nursing has existed. Despite organizational policies that mandate a zero tolerance for bullying, the problem continues as an “organizational undiscussable.” This education program focuses on what to do about bullies and steps to take to rid the workplace of bullying behaviors. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to: 1. Identify strategies to eliminate bullying from the workplace. 2. Develop skills and processes for managing bullying.
