Target Audience: The target audience for this education program is nurse managers who want to help their staff members bridge organizational gaps of isolation and disconnectedness. Course Overview: Regardless of the practice setting, staff nurses often express feelings of isolation or disconnectedness. This education program will provide nurse mangers with information to help their staff members make connections and build new relationships within the larger organization setting in which health care services are delivered. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to: 1. Discuss the value of promoting staff connectedness beyond the walls of the practice setting. 2. Describe ways to encourage relationship-building capacity among staff members. 3. Identify tips for managing staff opportunities for connectedness.
