The goal of this module is to provide the learner with an overview of genetic disorders and defects, palliative care, and end of life care. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Distinguish Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance patterns Identify at least two congenital defects Discuss risk factors of sudden infant death syndrome Describe strategies to support families with palliative and end of life care
