A day in veterinary shelter medicine

Course overview

Hands on participation in shelter surgery and medical rounds. Surgical training is provided one-on-one with individualized instruction. There are 8 hours of surgical credits available and we allow an extra day without CE credit for participants to practice the techniques just learned. There is a $500 fee for the surgical credits and no additional charge for the extra day of practice. Scholarships are available if cost is an issue. There is no fee for the 8 hours of Shelter Medicine CE, but this course takes an additional day to compete.
