The goal of this module is to provide nurses with information about dementia, delirium, amnesia and other neurocognitive disorders and treatment strategies. Upon completion of this module, the participant will be able to: Discuss the various types and severity of dementia List three medications for dementia Identify neurocognitive disorders from injury, substances, and disease Explore signs of delirium and amnesia Review interventions for behavioral management of persons with neurocognitive disorders
