Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation
Tracking # 20-618992
Course overview
Multiple sclerosis remains something of a mystery, even with the multitudes of medical advancements in the field. It is known that the mechanism of this disease is to attack the myelin surrounding nerve fibers and to disrupt communication between the brain and the body, but the actual cause of this disease is still unknown. Further complicating matters are the wide variety of symptoms and the lack of a specific diagnostic test. Medical researchers and clinicians are optimistic, however, that while there is no cure, treatments to manage symptoms continue to show promise to improve the quality of life for those living with multiple sclerosis. This is the third in a series on multiple sclerosis. No Test Required!
