Course overview

The goal of this module is to provide urology nurses with information about acute and chronic urinary retention, urge and urinary stress incontinence and overactive bladder. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Identify the demography, risk factors, and classification of urinary retention and urinary incontinence Discuss treatment options, nursing assessment, and plan of care Promote patient education on management of incontinence and urinary retention Evaluate outcomes
