The goal of this module is to provide urology nurses with an overview of obstructive uropathies and review some common traumatic genitourinary (GU) conditions. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Identify the demography, risk factors, and classification of different types of obstructive uropathies and genitourinary trauma Discuss treatment options, nursing assessment, and plan of care Promote patient education on management of kidney stones and BPH Evaluate for outcomes
