Course overview
The goal of this module is to provide nurses with an overview of three common cancers of the genitourinary tract, namely adenocarcinoma of the prostate, urothelial carcinoma of the bladder and renal cell carcinoma. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Identify the demography and risk factors of genitourinary cancers Discuss treatment options and recognize potential side effects through nursing assessment and plan of care Review patient education on compliance during and after treatment
