Course overview

The goal of this module is to provide a review of methods to identify infections and the methods the body uses to defend against pathogens. On completion of this module, the participant will be able to: Identify at least 3 primary defense mechanisms of the body Distinguish between colonization, infection, and contamination List at least 5 characteristics that contribute to the pathogenicity of an organism
