Outline - 1. Introductions & sneak preview of TMR Principles 2.A demonstration of how TMR works on all Course Participants 3.The importance of Following the 6 Step Process 4.’Patient Fixing Themselves’ Technique - Patient-therapist communication skills to speed up assessment and accelerate patient learning Objective – By the end of the course the participants will be able to - 1. Correctly explain two possible theories using research, to support the TMR Method. 2. Analyze the findings of one full body TMR Evaluation performed on self (using TMR Rules for treatment) 3. Correctly explain the importance of Following the 6 Step Process 4. Justify the use of each of the 3 TMR Rules, when a patient’s symptoms increase during treatment. 5. Correctly design a plan of care using TMR Philosophy, for a given case as taught in the course. 6. Correctly document on the ‘TMR daily note-FAB Form (using the TMR rules)’ your treatments for all the above motions, as taught in class. Agenda : The Homestudy Program is divided into 6 Grades, each consisting of a new set of instructions, motions and testing etc... Grade 1 : Duration – 1.25 hour Introduction, Concept Of TMR, Basic Principles, TMR Rules for Treatment Grade 2 : Duration – 1 hour In standing – The treatment Of Upper Extremity Motion, Trunk Motion & Lower extremity motion using TMR One-Direction of Motion Criteria ( joint in Neutral) . Fill in the TMR FAB Form with your findings. Grade 3 – Duration – 1 hour In sitting - The treatment Of Upper Extremity Motion, Trunk Motion & Lower extremity motion using TMR One-Direction of Motion Criteria ( joint in Neutral). Fill in the TMR FAB Form with your findings. Grade 4 – Duration – 1 hour (i)The FAB 6 Step Process - Understanding The Importance of Following The 6 Step Process. (ii) Full Body TMR Evaluation using TMR Rules and Principles (iii) Fill the TMR daily note and FAB Form Grade 5 - Duration – 1.25 hour Case Study Examples. Use of each of the 3 TMR Rules, when a patient’s symptoms increase during treatment. Design & Assess home program(plan of care) using the TMR philosophy. Fill in the TMR Daily note for the process. Grade 6 - Duration – 1 hour (i)Understand and be able to verbalize the 3D mechanical basis for TMR . (ii) Frequently asked questions section (iii)Evaluation & Testimonial Forms, Self Reflection Forms etc.. (iv) Clinician Only Section, recorded videos of live class-discussions Total Duration : 6.5 hours (The average time calculated by the 10 participants was 6 hours and hence, we determined the duration of this course to be 6 hours approx. )
