Course overview

Students will learn about the principles, pathophysiology and management of the patient experiencing a neurological trauma. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Review the human neurologic system and most common trauma of the neurological system Review transport considerations for the neurological patient Review care at time of traumatic event Review of care during Emergency Department evaluation and stabilization Review inpatient care of post neurological trauma
