*** This course meets the requirements of the Florida Board of Nursing*** Domestic violence is a serious health crisis in America. Health care practitioners from nurses to respiratory therapists to physical therapists to doctors are all in positions to identify victims. When unrecognized, there can be serious consequences from emotional to physical injuries to both the abuse victim and their children. This course aims to help practitioners of all stripes to better understand, recognize and support victims of domestic violence.
