Course overview

Falls are a common cause of morbidity and one of the leading causes of non-fatal healthcare setting injuries the United States.  Staff are frequently injured trying to help clients who are at risk for falls or need assistance transferring.   This course will identify patient risk factors, fall prevention strategies, and how to help protect staff from injuries.
