Goals The goal of this article is to discuss the pharmacologic medications related to ischemic stroke care in the context of the overall treatment approach towards the patient Objectives Discuss the efficacy of pharmacological treatment in stroke management Identify the three most important acute neurologic complications of ischemic stroke Describe the action of medications when combined with Aspirin Describe the role of anti-inflammatory agents in the management of stroke Discuss the pharmacology of antiplatelet agents
