Course overview
The course is designed to train doctors, nurses, firefighters, policemen and other front-line professionals on how to properly identify human trafficking [exploitation] within our streets, hospitals and schools. Upon completion the individuals will identify: 1). Risk factors associated with human trafficking, 2). Ways to identify tracking victims, and 3). Examine the types of human trafficking i.e. labor and sex. Creating a community of informed citizens, using various interventions taught by licensed professionals can assist with teaching at risk youth and adults on how to protect themselves and others from the dangers of a trafficker.
