Course overview

This course provides healthcare professionals with an updated overview of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), including current epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic strategies, treatment, and prevention approaches. Participants will explore advances in antiretroviral therapy (ART), strategies for reducing transmission, management of comorbidities, and approaches to improving patient adherence and quality of life. Emphasis is placed on integrating evidence-based care, patient education, and public health measures to optimize outcomes.
