Job Readiness: Preparation, Employment, and Disclosure

Course overview

In this course, we will present an overview of job readiness training. We will focus on the process of guiding vocational rehabilitation (VR) clients through the preparation and execution of job searching, choosing the right job, and disclosing disability to potential employers. We will discuss how to help a VR client choose the right jobs to apply for based on their skills, strengths, weaknesses, needs, likes, and dislikes.
