Course overview

To provide nursing professionals with knowledge of steps to recognize and report impairment in the workplace as well as to identify available treatment programs for healthcare workers. Also, nurses need to know the steps on how to report impairment; Employer's should initiative(s) to promote workplace safety; Healthcare professionals needs to know how mandatory reporting law impacts impaired medical professionals, and treatment programs that are available.
