Upon completion of this course, attendee will be able to Describe the healthcare implications of domestic violence, Isolate the risk factors for domestic violence, List the signs and symptoms of domestic violence, Discuss appropriate documentation in cases of suspected domestic violence, State Florida's reporting requirements for domestic violence, Describe client/family interventions to protect the victims and prevent future violence, and Identify resources available in the community as well as state and national resources.
