Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: 1. The attendee will be able to identify the mechanism whereby hyperbaric oxygen acts as a radiation sensitizer. 2. The attendee will be able to describe the results of hyperbaric oxygen applied as a radiosensitizer. 3. The attendee will be able to recognize the mechanisms whereby hyperbaric oxygen is effective in treating late radiation injuries. Subject Matter: • Beams and Bars: Radiation Oncology and Hyperbaric Medicine, An Inseparable Story, Past, Present and Future. Teaching Methods: Online video of speakers lecture with PPT slides embedded; Exam questions for each lecture; Evaluation of program. Evaluation Methods: Evaluation is offered online after completion of the activity, which evaluates the effectiveness of the meeting, that no bias was presented, individual faculty and overall objectives were met.
