Course overview

Esophageal disorders may significantly impact the comfort, safety and nutritional status of the elderly nursing home resident. It is important for the Dysphagia Therapist to be able to differentiate symptoms of esophageal dysfunction from other problems that interfere with eating. This course is designed as an overview of the diagnoses, assessment procedures and treatment options for esophageal dysphagia.
