Course overview

Temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) frequently presents clinically with symptoms of masticatory muscle fatigue and pain, TMJ sounds and mandibular movement dysfunction, preauricular pain, cervical and upper back symptoms, headache, as well as ear pain. TMD is not exclusively a dental condition. This module is intended to give you further insights into TMD's multi-factorial etiology and provide a treatment strategy that might affect more than just a peripheral symptom.
