Course overview
The purpose of this program is to review the importance of breastfeeding and examine the risks of artificial feeding. On completion of the module, the learner will be able to: Discuss when the use of formula as an alternate source of nutrition Review the history of the use of formula and other methods of feeding infants when breastfeeding is not available Describe how to choose formula, manage equipment, mix, feed, transport, and store formula safely Examine the role of formula in disasters and emergencies
